Growing Little Seeds Play And Learn (in-home Care)'s Photo

Growing Little Seeds Play And Learn (in-home Care)

10835 W. Cobb Ave Hales Corners, WI

< 1 mi

I am a college educated, stay-at-home mother of two little girls, ages 5 & 3. I do not operate a day care. I care for a very small number of children in my home at a time; thus ensuring each child receives individualized attention. I want parents to feel safe, knowing that their children are well cared for in a happy, encouraging and loving environment. We are very active and busy learning for most of the day. Each day you can expect us to do things such as; story time, indoor/outdoor exploration, craft/art time, free play and creative theme specific learning activities. We have our weeks scheduled in advance and strive to continue structure through out the day. Our care kids do as much or as little as they wish, no pressure! Most of all, we sing, dance & play! We also take it easy when kids need down-time, breaks and/or naps. I get the children acclimated to the same play/down time schedule so there is structure& repetition in knowing how the day will play out. I feel kids learn best and feel most secure this way. My rates are very reasonable and I don't charge for days that kids are not in my care. I also offer a sibling discount for children of the same household. You can provide meals or I can. Our family diet is comprised of all-natural consumables. If I provide meals/snacks, I ask parents to do a monthly meal share for lunch and snack items which is a nominal fee to offset meal costs which parents generally find easier and more convenient than packing lunches/snacks each day. Either way, I allow parents this choice. Full disclosure, I do ask parents to allow me to travel with their children. It s important that I mention this because we are very active and travel is a necessity. I would bring your children anywhere I would bring my own; grocery shopping, zoo, parks, library, dance class, gymnastics, school pick up/drop off, etc.

Previously being a restaurant manager for 10 years I understand the demands of the working world but was always concerned about when I had children and who was going to care for them. I have a 15 month old boy whom is my everything and I love spending every day with him. I do not want to go back into the restaurant business and am opening my home up to care for kids. I absolutely adore kids and the creativity they have. I am a very easy going person with a very positive lookout on life. I cook all the meals in our home and never eat at fast food restaurants. My kitchen is filled with lots of fruits and vegetables and healthy snacks. I live in a lower duplex on the corner of 110th and Liberty in Hales Corners. I have a huge yard and my street is not connected to the main road so the amount of cars that pass during a day is no more than 10. I am all about making the best out of my day and that involves having fun with my child and the children that I care for. I love to teach, encourage, and participate in all children that I care for. I will treat your child like my own and make sure they are safe, happy, and fed. I also live very close to a park that has two playgrounds and two pools. The library is also next to the park if we ever need a fun outing on a rainy day. I am very affordable and very understanding with special circumstances that life brings upon us. I would love to care for your child Monday through Friday. 7am-5:30pm. I am also interested in watching children every now and then Friday and Saturday nights so parents can have date nights. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you have!

We are a state licensed family childcare located just south of downtown in Milwaukee. We are a rare 4-star quality rated in-home childcare as rated by the state of Wisconsin's rating system - YoungStar. As a certified child-care teacher and having a 4-year degree in education, I believe strongly in helping our future generations to achieve their maximum potential as they grow and develop socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually. I love taking the children out on field trips whenever possible, otherwise our day is scheduled with times for free-play, outside time (weather permitting, twice a day), group time (which includes various activities), art time and more. For older children (about 2 and up) I work on getting the kids ready for Kindergarten. We'll work on ABC's, colors, emotions, numbers, counting, sorting, opposite/same, naming things, tracing, cutting, coloring in the lines, practicing writing ABC's, names and numbers (for those old enough), Spanish, Sign Language, and more. During free-play time, the children are able to choose one of the centers to play in, such as drama area, discovery center, games, or the creative center.

Hi My name is Valerie Beyer - I am a 27 year old happy mother to a 7.5 year old boy. I also have been married to my husband for almost 3 years, but have been faithfully with him for 10 years now. (WOW) :) I am taking a new journey in my life and providing in-home daycare to those families in need. Why pay those crazy day-care facility costs when I will provide the 1:1 attention that each growing child needs. I can provide meals which would be included in the cost. I am looking to take in 1-2 more wonderful children into my home on January 12th, 2015. I will also be watching a beautiful 1.5 year old girl, and in early March I will also be watching a newborn girl. We are pet-friendly, we have a beautiful Siberian husky named Zelda. She absolutely loves children. We also have a smart little Siamese cat named Miecia who is hypo-allergenic, my husband is allergic to cats so Miecia was a great fit to our family. I plan to provide the best cares to each child that comes into my home. We love playing games, and being outside. We have a park within 2 blocks we visit often, I look forward to speaking with you soon!

I am accepting applications for Part time (at least 3 days a week) and Full time (with a maximum of 50 hours a week). My hours are from 7:00 AM until 5:30 PM, Monday-Friday. I offer an environment suited to help aide your child(ren) in developing at their own pace. I am located NEAR Greenfield/ Franklin/ Oak Creek in the South Side of Milwaukee. What you can expect from me and my childcare: > Parents are informed about our day with a DAILY progress report (and a Polaroid of your child attached to show you a sneak peek of what our day looked like). > We have a weekly menu. > Maintain safety and cleanliness. > Have a good mixture of group work, reading, art and individual/ one on one learning and playtime. > Have reasonable rates because I know how hard it is to want the best for your child but find it hard to afford it. > Be attentive to your child and to understand their individual and daily needs. > HAVE FUN! :-) What makes me different: > I do not have a TV, so you can be assured that your child's day will be filled with fulfilling, engaging activities all day long. > I encourage healthy eating. Everything I will provide will be organic or fresh from the garden. I will be providing snacks, Breakfast, Lunch, milk and water. > The toys for the children are mostly simple wooden toys. We have an abundance of "dress up" clothes and puppets, for example. You can be ensured that engaging your child's imagination is my second priority (Because safety is ALWAYS #1)! > My childcare includes a "Learning Room". This room is divided into 4 sections: "Math/ Science", "Language", "Practical Life" and "Sensory". Each child will choose the activity (activities) from any of the four sections. Each activity is very basic and will introduce your child to the wonderful world of learning. We will spend up to an hour and a half in this beautiful room. > We have a large backyard and 2 playgrounds that are walking distance to our home. > I will only have a maximum of 5 children in my care. If you have read all of the above and I still have your interest, please read on to learn a little bit more about me and my family: My name is Jessica and my husband's name is Dan. We have 2 kids (3 year old girl and a 1 year old boy). My husband is a full time mail carrier and a part time MP in the National Guard. We also have a cat who is absolutely lovable and will mostly be asleep and away throughout the day. I have extensive experience working with kids. My experience includes 9 years as a swim teacher. Throughout my years as a swim teacher, I have worked with preschoolers and children in early grade school. I have gained knowledge in lesson planning and physical development. Working with kids is my passion and playing with them while they learn is such a bonus! Since I am just starting out, I am not currently on the certification/license daycare list. My future goals (within the next 2-3 years): > To earn a certification as a Montessori Teacher. > Have my own licensed daycare facility. > And my establishment would be a Montessori learning environment for children 18 months - 6 years. MY RATES: For a child 18 months-3 years old $38 a day (diapers through potty training). Age 2-3 (potty trained) $35 a day. Age 3-4 is $30 a day. Age 4-5 is $25 a day. Thank you for viewing my ad!
