In-Home daycare
Welcome, Mylene's Family Daycare is a licensed home base daycare. We are located minutes away from the Rivermark Shopping Center in Santa Clara. We are in between Don Callejon and Katheryn Hughes Elementary Schools. A little about my Family and me: I'm 38 and have over 10 + years experience with the caring of kids. I'm Filipino, and fluent in Tagalog. I'm also a mother of three kids. My oldest is already in high school. My husband and I have been Silicon Valley professionals for the last 10 years. My background is in the Human resource field. As our family grew, so did the responsibilities at work. The biggest daily challenge however, was finding and trusting someone to care for our kids. Plus the unbearable daily stress from dropping off, fighting traffic, and picking up our kids. We were always worried if our children were safe and happy. Once our youngest was born, I was inspired to make some changes and my husband supported the idea of a Home Daycare, where I can also spend time with our two young girls. It seemed difficult at the time, but I submitted my resignation to my employer for many years. Our Home Family Daycare is my way of supporting my family while helping other local parents facing the same challenges. This is not a job, but a new way of daily life for my family. You and your kids will be treated as family and the well being of our kids is my foremost priority. Daily Activities will address both physical and intellectual development. We want our kids to laugh and enjoy every precious moment of their infant years. Our home has been transformed to provide many enjoyable activities. We have a well stocked cabinet with all the goodies a kid can want (Crayons, play dough, puzzles, paint, etc.... Our reading bookshelf has many reading books for all ages. Our backyard has been rubberized for kid's safety. My facility is licensed for the caring of up to 8 kids. The small group of kids enrolled in my Daycare will just ensure that I provide the highest level of attention to all the kids. I'm available Mon - Sat for a facility showing. It will be fun to meet you and your little one. Thank you again, for considering Mylene's Family Daycare Mylene Chavez

I’m thrilled to introduce you to New Adventures, where learning is an adventure. This is a nurturing childcare home where every child’s learning journey is supported through play and exploration. My name is Ms. Heather, and I’ve had the pleasure of owning and operating New Adventures for seven years. I have an associate's degree in early childhood development, 20 additional college units in Early Childhood Education, a California teacher's permit, and earned a five-star rating from the Tulare County Office of Education in 2019. As a mother of two young adult children—my daughter, 23, who earned her MBA at 21 from Fresno State, and my son, 21, who is about to graduate with an associate's degree in art/photography and graphic design from the College of the Sequoias and continuing his education at the University of Santa Cruz—I understand the importance of nurturing both academic and personal growth. Over the years, I’ve learned that a play-based environment is the most natural and effective way for children to learn. I encourage the children in my care to engage with a variety of materials that promote both creativity and critical thinking. I’ve carefully designed the daycare space to offer rich, hands-on experiences, both indoors and outdoors, and I rotate the play materials monthly to keep their minds and hands engaged. I believe every moment is an opportunity for learning through curiosity, and I use those moments to guide children along their individual developmental paths. Our meals are an extension of our learning, where children practice counting, identifying colors, and developing good table manners. Outdoor time is equally enriching, with hands-on opportunities to observe our chickens, fruit trees, and vegetable garden. The children actively participate in gardening, learning the importance of care, patience, and fresh food. Our safe, fenced play area offers a variety of climbing, digging, and splashing activities, supporting both physical and emotional growth. At New Adventures, each child’s abilities are celebrated, and I encourage them to learn and grow at their own pace—without pressure to perform. I focus on making learning joyful and empowering. Children feel loved, appreciated, and confident as they discover new things and experience the world around them in their own way. I can’t wait to welcome your child into our world of adventure and discovery!
