Cat Sitter

One Time • $15 – 20/hr • Starts 12/09 • Centreville, VA

We are looking for someone to come give our sick cat medicine twice a day (morning and night) and additionally play with both cats for a short time during the visit. One or two times litter box cleaning may also be required as well as water refill and occasional feeding.

They both can be illusive usually the long hair, Morph will greet you at the door but is slow to allow touching. The short hair Rumblina will probably watch from a hiding place. She doesn't typically run from touching though. Her food is upstairs in the "office" next to the bathroom as is her litter box. In the basement in the laundry room is Morph's food and litter. There's a little bowl outside the door to give Rumblina a little of his food, but since her food is prescription we try to keep them kinda separate. No smoking in the house. Additional needs include having a reliable car. 2 Cats. Services Needed: Sitter.

Our little girl Lola needs some extra care as she was just diagnosed with right sided heart failure. There will be 3-4 small pills she will need at night and one tiny pill in the morning. She is getting more comfortable with taking the medicine but it will require someone to open her mouth and put the pills on the back of her tongue. Both cats are friendly and nice. Our boy Charlie is the extrovert of the two. Lola will take a little bit to warm up to new people. They love to play with their string toy! We have an automatic feeding and water system so we are primarily looking for someone to administer Lola's medication. Giving Lola and Charlie some attention while we are away is a plus!.
