Welcome to Stepping Stones Child Care! A very safe, reliable, honest, loving & friendly, family oriented environment. A place where children are encouraged to be children! We are a funny, friendly, home based child care - we love children and encourage learning, humor and have lots of fun times!
This is an established Maryland State licensed daycare offering full time, part time, before/after school, drop in & summer time care. Located in Rockville (20853) by Lucy V. Barnsley Elementary & Earle B. Wood Middle Schools. We've had criminal background checks and training/certifications in early childhood development & SIDS, emergency preparedness, as well as, Infant & Adult CPR and First Aid. By law licensed providers are required to include their registration number in any/all advertisements (registration number: 156982).
I am a CACFP (Child & Adult Care Food Program) provider. Your child will receive healthy, well balanced, home cooked meals. I love to cook, and encourage the children to help me when appropriate. I provide breakfast, morning snack, lunch & afternoon snack.
We have the most adorable & loving dog ever! More like a big pillow for the children :-) He is very well trained, both personally & professionally.
Your child will jump into a world of fun in the outdoor play area loaded with toys, a sandbox, water sprinklers and more! I encourage all children to explore their surroundings & curiosities and do the things they love in a fun & safe environment. They are provided with an abundance of age appropriate, mentally stimulating, educational activities such as:
* Indoor/outdoor play
* Imaginative play/role play
* Arts & crafts
* Building structures using different types of materials
* Music
* Dance
* Reading time, and much more
I help:
* Prepare children for preschool or Kindergarten with emphasis on reading readiness & math
* Promote the use of good manners & hygiene
* Potty train, etc.
Full time rates: $250/week infant, $225/week potty trained & $200/week 4 & over
Hours of operation are 6:30am - 4:30pm. There is a 2nd individual here to assist with afternoons. I clean and sanitize daily! I provide a discount for siblings, offer referral bonuses, and much more.
In order to maximize the quality of our discussion, calls will be returned the same day, during nap time (if possible) or after the close of business, between 5pm & 8pm.
