OUR PHILOSOPHY
At Vivi's Family Daycare, our goal is to produce, happy, intelligent, well adjusted children. Here you will find a nurturing, educational environment for newborns to children up to 5 years of age.
We recognize that each child has unique talents, learning styles and personalities. Children are offered opportunities to explore through play. Gross motor skills and social skills are developed through both structured and unstructured play. The day is filled with educational elements through games, story time, singing songs and much more! Communication between parents and teachers is very important at Vivi's Family Daycare in order to help each child to develop to have a positive self concept to succeed in their future.

OBJECTIVES
At the end of our program your child
1. Will be socially and academically prepared for kindergarten.
2. Will have a positive self concept.
3. Will be socially prepared and be able to participate in group or individual activities.
4. Will value physical activity and good nutrition.

CURRICULUM
The children under our care receive lots of both free-play and structured-play throughout each day. During circle time, the children learn to use the calendar including naming months, day and seasons, they have story time, learn to cut with scissors, other areas of study include: number lessons, and counting, color identification, shape recognition, name spelling and writing, learning hoe to hold a pencil, free-play activities are singing and dancing, drawing and coloring doing yoga, and puzzles. They also receive etiquette classes (learning how to use the utensils. Much emphasis is put on social development skills at each age level. we work daily to help the children to learn how to express themselves constructively, play in group and respect.
