Words cannot express what Vana has meant to our family. My twins have been with her for FOUR years! We started when they were six months, and every moment with her has been special. She goes out of her way to communicate with you every day, and provides pictures to help make the day go by faster for needy moms like me! She is very creative and always has new activities, games, crafts and fun ways to teach the children. Her home is immaculate and feels safe, and her cooking is authentic and amazing. All factors that were on the top of my list when I was looking for a daycare. But above all, my children adore her, and the peace of mind she has given my husband and me while we are at work is invaluable. The loving care and kindness Vana's Daycare offers every day is rare and unmatched. Vana loves our children as her own and they have loved every minute they've spent with her. Two of hardest milestones I've had as a mother are handing my kids to Vana at six months old after all they knew was me, and taking them back at 4 years old to start preschool. I look back and realize how easy she made it for me, how easy she is to love, and that placing them in her care was hands down the best decision I have made for them yet.

We've had the privilege of having our two kids in Vana's care for 1.5 years, and we're so grateful we found her in the midst of the pandemic. After the birth of our second child, I was very anxious about sending our newborn and prek daughter to the chain daycare we'd registered them for upon my return to work. A nanny neighbor highly recommended Vana to me, and I'd always been skeptical of in-home daycares, but after we toured her lovely home daycare and met with her, I felt so much more at ease about my kids being safe and in good hands when I returned to work.
Within a few days of when my 4 month old son and prek daughter started at Vana's, they were flourishing, happy to go, and loved - just as they are now. Vana does a great job of sending parents picture updates of their kids during the day. Sometimes we look back at our kids' first photos with Vana and tear up seeing how much they've grown not just physically but also as little people in her care. Vana is very nurturing, diligent, and attentive to the children, and our kids absolutely adore Vana and her team. Not only are our kids safe and having fun & learning but, as Vana advertises, she makes your children feel loved and confident and what an irreplaceable gift that is!
Pre-covid we'd only known the impersonal conventional daycare experience but after being with Vana, it'd be hard to ever go back to that because Vana's home daycare has spoiled us (in fact, we moved to Aldie to be closer to her). We also appreciate that the kids are close and like family with each other, and we are so grateful Vana makes holidays & birthdays extra special for the children. Our daughter celebrated her 5th birthday at Vana's amidst COVID, and her little daycare celebration meant the world to her and us. We're forever grateful for Mrs. Vana and the home daycare she's worked so hard to build. She's truly an amazing and trusted gift to our family.

Amazing staff with so much heart and caring mindset. It's wonderful seeing our daughter get excited about going to daycare. The staff really make an effort to engage the kids and develop them in a individualized way. The management is really committed to providing a safe, fun, and loving environment and we're very thankful to Silvana and the whole team at Vana's Home Daycare.

it is difficult for me to articulate how appreciative I am for Silvana and her daycare. When my husband and I had our first child, we wanted him to go from one loving home to another. Silvana's daycare is everything we hoped for! She is an incredibly loving, fun and hardworking daycare provider. She truly cares for my son and I don't know what my family would do without her.

Some of the specific things that I love about Silvana is that the food she cooks is nutritious and homemade, her method of discipline is in line with our beliefs, and the activities she does are age-appropriate and fun yet educational. I am in no way worried about my son's future academic career, however, it is a nice bonus! Silvana provides free and structured play. She checks a child's growth using current research benchmarks and gives parents advice on what to work on. She is constantly taking a class or training to grow her knowledge which, as a teacher myself, i can truly appreciate.

I honestly am not sure what we would do without Silvana, Ms. Clarita or Chris. What an amazing team that truly loves our children.

BEST DAYCARE EVER! I found Vana's daycare when I was ready to go back to the corporate world and have my daughter in daycare. Unfortunately Ms Vana had no openings. My daughter went to a chain daycare and I had a lot of issues. A year later Ms Vana had an opening and I was thrilled. Tiffany absolutely loves her and Mrs Clarita. A couple weeks after she started we got the pandemic. I was touched by Ms Vana kindness when she made home made meals for us and stuff for the kids to do at home. She followed all the guidelines and I know how hard it was in small businesses to shutdown. She would always send me pictures throughout the day and keep me posted on what Tiffany ate and anything that happened that day (good or bad). She discipline the kids through kindness and understanding. My daughter is well advanced and she made sure to get things to develop her skills instead of holding her back how some places do. I honestly considered holding my daughter back from going to KG just so she could stay with her one more year (she just turned 5 couple days before school started). I would recommend Ms Vana to care for your child for anybody that wants to be sure your child is taking care with kindness, shown compassion and taught things they will need for school. The kids don't play all day, they actually do activities and learn. She also adapted the menu to things Tiffany ate to make sure she was fed. Ms Clarita would always do Tiffany's her and she loved it. Thank you for all the kindness you had with my daughter and our family during such hard times.

Silvana and her team are INCREDIBLE! I cannot express how fortunate my husband and I feel having found her. As new parents and transplants to VA, we were super nervous and anxious to leave our son at a unfamiliar place, with people we didn't know. We looked at a handful of other facilities in the area as well as a couple in-home daycares and the second we met Silvana at her home, we knew she could provide everything for our son to thrive, be loved and be happy.

My son has been with her for almost 2 years now (since he was 4 months old) and we cannot fathom him being anywhere else. He is so happy to be in the environment Silvana has created, he sometimes cries when he has to leave. Silvana has treated us like we're family from the very first day. She has one of the biggest hearts we've met and truly loves all of her kids. Her space is bright, clean and well organized. She organizes creative activities such as arts and crafts, dancing, yoga time, story time, fun and engaging games and incorporates lots of outdoor time when the weather is cooperative. Birthday's and holidays are big celebrations filled with fun, food and activities. She creates an excellent balance between learning and playing to keep the kids stimulated.

Her communication is fantastic and she sends lots of pictures throughout the day to make us feel like we're included in all the fun. She is constantly continuing her education to make enhancements to her environment and to ensure she is equipped with the most up to date information. She works tirelessly to ensure the kids are safe, happy and always receiving everything they need.

Needless to say, we love Silvana and appreciate her so much! She truly is, hands down, THE ABSOLUTE BEST!

Silvana is an answer to my family's prayers! She is so loving and caring, and my son adores her. Everyday when I drop my son off we are greeted with a smile, and I leave knowing he will have an amazing day! I am most appreciative of Silvana's open communication. She sends pictures of my son throughout the day, and is always very responsive when I text with questions or concerns. Silvana treats each kid as if they are her own, and I would highly recommend her care to any parent in search of a loving and nurturing environment for their children.

Silvana has been such a blessing to our family. She has taken such good care of our son from six weeks after birth until Kindergarten.

Silvana has always been kind, compassionate and caring to our son and the other children there. I absolutely love Silvana and her staff! They are AMAZING!!!! Leaving your children with someone is so difficult to do and with Silvana I always know that my children will be loved and well cared for. I have entrusted Silvana to care for my two kids and I would HIGHLY recommend her. She is like a part of our family - she is attentive to each child's individual needs, provides a safe and nurturing environment, sends updates throughout the day, and genuinely cares for each child. Throughout the day she sends pictures so you know what your child has been up to that day and can discuss with her/him. The kids also do a lot of arts and crafts, science activities and spend time outside playing. The activities are adjusted based on the age group and the interests of the kids which is amazing because your children get a customized experience. Silvana is always seeking to grow and improve too, she stays up to date on her training and seeks out new training opportunities. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend Silvana - she is amazing and you will not be disappointed. She is so much more than a child care provider, she is family!

I absolutely love Silvana! She is amazing with children to say the least! My son Hugo started going to her daycare when he was 8 months. I was so sad to leave him. But after a few days my son looked so happy with her, sometimes he wouldn't want to leave! That made me so comfortable. I drove from Herndon to Centreville for her! Then I moved to Centreville to be closer! Then Silvana moved to south riding. I didn't care how far, I followed her without caring because my son loved her very much.
I loved the pictures she would send me while I was at work. It made my days sweeter. I also loved all the crafts she makes with them.
We left Silvana because I had my second child, and we decided to stay home. I now have 3 beautiful boys. I'm lucky to be home with them. If I was working, we would be going to Silvana. She is an amazing mom, friend and DAYCARE PROVIDER!

Silvana is absolutely amazing and true answer to prayers!! She's so loving and nurturing, I truly would NOT trust anyone else to care for my two children. Having to go back to work after maternity leave is probably one of the hardest transitions EVER and finding someone you can TRUST is so important! From our first meeting with Silvana, I knew she was the one. I could tell how my kids interacted with her that she had a true gift and my kids would be in the best hands.
My kids love her! She sends pictures via text daily which I look forward to each day. She makes healthy lunches and snacks and the dance parties are endless!! Both of my kids have grown so much throughout their time in her care. Highly recommended!

My toddler son went to Silvana for a while. She took such good care of him. I was always getting updates and pictures while at work. She loves each child as if they were her own kids.

Silvana is wonderful with the kids. My daughter loves going to her house. It's like home to her. She sends me pictures of her playing and being silly. She gives her healthy snacks. Her house is always clean and the kids are always happy. She plays with the kids and keeps them entertained. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my daughter.

Silvana is the best and most trusted child care provider I have come in contact with. My daughter who is now 3 years old has been with Savannah since she was 1 year. I would highly recommend using her for your child's daycare. Silvana is great and very attentive with children. Each night when I pick up my daughter she smiling, laughing and full of joy that is because Silvana ensures all her needs are taken care of. She work with my daughters gross and fine motor skills, education by encouraging her to learn letters, numbers, science through play, games and toys. However, the most wonderful and important aspect of Silvana is allowing me not to worry about my daughter while I'm at work. I get pictures of my daughter and friends playing, at the park, and at the library. My daughter looks forward to going to Ms Silvana every day. Including weekends.

My son (now 2 years old) has been attending Silvana's home daycare since he was 3 months old. As a first time mom, there was nothing more nerve wracking than finding someone to care for my baby. When I met with Silvana, I could tell that she truly cares for all of the children and they become a part of her family. She sends pictures and messages every day and my son is always bringing home crafts. He absolutely loves going to Silvana's and I am so happy that we found her!

Vana's home day care is amazing, I feel very secure leaving my daughter with Vana which is the main reason I choose a day care. Safety and peace of mind is always proirity in her day care. I defenetly recommend this day care to any parent who is looking for excellent care.

Vana's home daycare is the best decision you will ever make. My daughter has been with Vana since she was 2 years old. The amount of knowledge my daughter has is all thanks to Vana. She teaches how to share, respect, to be independent and overall she is a great and respectful daycare provider. She provides great education for children. She loves children, they are her first priority and always keeps them safe. My daughter loves Vana and she is very trustworthy.

My two children, ages 5 and 2, have been going here for about 6 months now and I could not rave enough about how wonderful Ms. Vana is. Everyday there is a craft or learning activity sent home, my kids always want to stay and everyone here is so wonderful, from the other children's families to Ms. Vana and her own children it is like an extended family. Her house is impeccably clean and her own children are amazing examples for the younger ones. They are highly intelligent, polite children that further solidify my confidence in choosing Ms. Vana. You honestly could not ask for more in a childcare provider.

I have two school aged children that attend Ms. Vana's Daycare for the last three years! Ms. Vana has always showed a true warmth and care for my children. She was not only my daycare provider , but she was a second mother to my children as well. I never worried about my children because I knew they were safe and loved. At anytime there was a concern in regards to my children's health (i.e., asthma, fever, etc) she would call me right away!!! For special occasions she never forgot my kids!!! There was always a special treat for them..... After school she made sure my children finish there homework was done, which made my evenings lighter. I love Ms. Vana, she is such a blessing to our family.

My children have been attending Vana's Home Day Care since 2011. Each day I return to pick up my children, they never want to leave. As we are walking to the car, it never fails, my daughter has to turn around & run back to Vana to give her a hug:) They ask every night before they go to sleep, if they get to go back the next day. It's a great feeling to know that when I leave, I have no worries. I know they are safe & having a great time! They come home everyday with a different craft, drawing, etc or a story about their nature walk. I love that several times a day/week, she sends me pictures of the children during their daily activity or while at the playground or when on the nature walk. For me, that just confirms that they love her as much as I do.

My son has been going to her for a few years and I absolutely love having her care for him and could not ask for another mom away from mom!
