All ages of children growing together truly makes Teachable Moments Child Care a "family child care." Children experience each other's developmental changes over time. The child who was the youngest yesterday gets to be the eldest tomorrow. This socialexperience, as well as the routines, prepares children to enter Elementary School ready to learn. We enroll and plan for all children whatever their needs. Individual abilities are respected. <br/> We specialize in special needs children and are willing to make adaptations whenever possible. The staff guides a child toward acceptable behavior. Parent's insights about their child's behavior help us better understand and deal with each child. Together, child care providers and parents encourage positive behavior so children develop confidence in their own abilities. Using a positive approach, we can work toward training that fosters each child's self control. Through our discussions, we search for ways to encourage children's independence.
