Who are we?
Rh Babes in Toyland is a privately owned center in the Rochester Hills area. We are family oriented and desire to see children grow inch by inch. We serve an organic hot lunch to the children and follow the High Scope Curriculum. We are qualified by the State of Michigan and Great Start to Quality has given us a 3 star rating which we are currently working towards a 4 star rating. We provide care for children, infants to preschool. Over the summer, we offer a summer program school aged children will enjoy.
What do we serve?
Healthy, organic food. We know how important it is to keep the children healthy and so we provide food that will encourage the children to eat that way. We also during the summer have a garden with lots of herbs and vegetables that the children help care for and enjoy.
We also serve the children family style meals which means that the teacher and children eat meals together. And will learn through modeling table manners and to teach children some self-help skills. Children learn to serve their food and pour their drinks for example.
We also encourage the children with hygienic practices like brushing their teeth, washing their hands so the children are slowly able to care for their needs.
Our programs...
We offer care for children of all ages, from infants to school aged. Our teachers are qualified with degrees in early childhood and continual training to build their skills as teachers.
