Hello and thank you for taking the time to review my profile. My name is Nicole and I am a single mother to a preschool aged daughter, and for about the last three years I have been blessed to stay home with my daughter by caring for other young children in my home. As time goes on children grow and move on to the next stages in life, so I am currently looking for a couple of families to support by providing a home learning environment away from home. I am not a certified teacher but have learned the importance of having a childlike spirit to connect with children in various ways. At the same time providing a consistent rhythm of the day that consists of circle time, free play, nature walks, cooking, life skills and chores, hygiene, verbal story time and verses, and incorporate relevant field trips at the end of the week. What inspires me to continue to provide childcare is the opportunity to give young children an organic childhood experience. I have adopted both Montessori and natured based principles to offer a balance to every day life to allow children to explore at their own will. Nothing is ever forced and options to choose are always given, even with mealtime. Meals are freshly homemade and consist of mainly organic and gluten free ingredients and juices are only freshly pressed.
