Mccormick Lane Daycare

Hello Families! My name is Kate Fairbrother and I run a family home day care with a capacity of 6 children with no more then 2 under the age of 2. I'm a mom, wife, daughter, and teacher. I'm extremely passionate about providing a positive learning environment and believe to do so it takes setting clear expectations, rules & routines, student centered learning, and communication with all parties involved in the growth and development of each child. You'll find me to be hard working, fun, and energetic. I run my home daycare as if I was still teaching in the classroom. Throughout the school year, we'll cover several themes each week following a daily lesson plan. We do morning meeting, circle time, small group learning throughout a variety of centers, snack time, lunch time, nap, and free play. I use the outdoors whenever I can and I often make modifications to meet the needs of each individual. I hope you like what you read and if you have any questions, I'd be happy to answer them for you!
