My name is Maria, and my husband's name is Miguel and we are the owners of Happy Face Family Day Care. We are licensed professional Family Child Care Providers. We are located in Concord close to Monument/ Meadow Ln. In 1990 we first opened our Family Child care home licensed by the State of California. License #073401853
I have more than twenty years of experience in Childcare. About seven years ago my husband joined us full time in the child care. My program is based on learn and play at the Child's Own Pace. We provide a fun place where the kids can explore, experiment, and experience to cope with developmental stages as they grow and each stage must be offered, encouraged and supported. Children in our care learn to cooperate, get along with others, share, and recognize the feelings of others, etc., small motor skills, large motor skills, early literacy skills, and early math skills are also part of our program.The quality of care in the first five years of a child matter. Children in my program are exposed to different environments. Our hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 7:00AM-10:30PM. Saturday, 6:00am-6:00pm and Sunday 6:00-3:00pm. We accept children from 6 weeks to 12 years. We also offer overnight for children age 2 and up. We are a year-round preschool/family daycare. We drop off and pick up children from different schools and offer homework help. We serve healthy and homemade food. We also have our own organic vegetable garden and many fruit trees in our facility.
Our home became the second and sometimes the first home for many children and their families. These families become part of our extended families. We are a bilingual English Spanish Program. Also we teach American Sign Language to help young child express themselves before they are verbal.
A happy child becomes a successful adult!
Parents can count on us in any life time situation. We had helped many single parents in many different ways beginning from teaching them how to drive, buy a used car, do jobs applications, registered for school and also monetarily.
