This is my child's 2nd month at Caterpillar Clubhouse and my wife and I are EXTACTIC over the development and socialization that we have seen with our 1 year old in such a short amount of time. Coming from a full time nanny to a daycare was a huge change for the entire family, but the staff really helped the transition easily. Everyone is soooo friendly. The owner is such a delight and very active in running her business. The facility looks and feels new - it is top notch, IMO.
We were recommended by two of our friends whose toddlers also attend here. We are so happy that our child attends this establishment and we honestly couldn't ask for anything more!
Pictures throughout the day. Updates of bathroom breaks. Outdoor activities. Singing and dancing. Family involvement via projects/homework (nothing major to do). Everything you need to know and do for your child is on an app - very modern and so easy to use to keep update with our child!
Overall, the vibe of this business feels like love when you walk in and the staff are full love.

My son would complain of someone pinching him at CCH but I never new who. Glad that he no longer attends CCH and that other parents are speaking out about this issue. Instead of criticizing parents or calling parents liars maybe the owner/director should investigate this accusation.

I can't say enough good things about CCH.

Every single staff member is considered family to my children at this point. The love shown to each child at CCH is REAL. My kids have thrived here, my oldest having started when he was barely a year old. He is now ready for KG and absolutely can't wait! He has had **every** teacher and I can personally attest to each classroom's care and compassion for these kids. My oldest has been in the care of them all and has excelled because of each teacher. Anything said otherwise about anyone at CCH is false.

The curriculum is stellar, pics/vids are sent all day long, communication throughout the day and the monthly forecast is outstanding. My kids know how to line up, raise their hands, respect others, process emotions in a healthy way, wait their turn, speak to others kindly, care for others, etc. THIS is what is important to me -- the excellent foundation of being a good human being! Academic building blocks are all checked off here as well. My oldest is a math whiz, and my youngest (not yet 2yo) is already working on phonetics and potty training. I have no one to thank but the staff at CCH! I have formed lasting friendships with several staff members and cannot imagine my children's' lives without them. My kids talk about their favorite teachers all day long! Thank you for providing such a wonderful atmosphere for my children to grow.

I have worked with Miss Nancy prior to her years at CCH. She has always been pleasant and understanding with the babies I.e. children. Her pleasantness and gentleness with EVERYONE has always been over and beyond. To come across a negative review while looking for daycare for my son was really shocking, especially because we are still in contact! I pray that situation is handled accordingly.

I work for CCH this beautiful place to work . The teachers are wonderful to work with. I have been working on and off there since December. Management is very nice. The teachers they teach as well as they have to praise and worship in the morning one of the most beautiful things you ever want to see how the children interact with the teachers and management. And I still come in to sub every now and then .

I worked at this establishment for a little under 2 years. Since my start date, I'd watched about 8 or 9 teachers come and go ( 3 within my first 2 months!) This alone should of told me everything I need to know about the place. It was, quite frankly, an awful place to work. All the problems stem from management. The director struggles as a leader and manager. She also has a tendency to lie. Be wary of working here or sending your children here.

This is the most amazing daycare! I have two kids enrolled. The Director is bubbly and fun, but also invested in making this a great place for kids and for the teachers which in turn means the teachers are all wonderful and long-term. Communication is amazing, I get pictures and videos all day and more importantly, immediate responses to all my messages. Everyone there takes any of my concerns seriously, they don't brush it off (like other daycares do). There are fun theme days each month, dedicated learning time, they go outside, the facility has an indoor gymnasium so the kids get to move around even on bad weather days, I could go on. My shy-ish son will occasionally ask to go to school on the weekends he loves it so much. I'm grateful for this center and all of the staff!

My children experienced some positive experiences at CCH however, it was not enough to stay at CCH. My husband and I did not feel that the owner and some of the staff had integrity. While some of the staff were pleasant and seem to really love working with children that could not be said for other CCH staff. Additionally, CCH didn't open it's doors until May 2016 however, below are reviews from March 2016. Which, goes to show a lack of integrity. CCH is supposed to be a Christian based daycare however, in my opinion they lack the morals and values of what a Christian is supposed to be.

This is my first time writing a review on Care.com, but this situation was so appalling it became necessary. In December 2019 my husband and I came to Bowie, MD to take a look at daycare centers in the area, as we were relocating from Chicago, IL to Bowie, MD in March 2020. We were aware that daycare centers in MD had long waiting list, so we wanted to make sure we secured spots for our infant and toddler. After visiting Caterpillar Clubhouse and talking with the leadership, we were told there would be spots available for both our children in April 2020. We then paid a deposit of $1525, which we were told secured our spots. We received a welcome email and were added to the daycare's email distribution list. We were relieved that we had secured daycare prior to our move, as we had a lot of other relocation priorities on our mind. On March 11 2020, after relocating to Bowie, Caterpillar Clubhouse called to inform me that our children's spots were no longer available because a parent, who planned on leaving the daycare had changed her mind. Our children were set to start daycare on April 1, 2020. We received this notification less than 3 weeks before the start date. My husband and I both work full time and didn't know what we were going to do now that we no longer had childcare services for our children. If we had known that our deposit and confirmation email did not mean our spots were secured, we would have took the time to secure alternative childcare or even add our names to other waiting lists. This experience was very unprofessional and very inconvenient. However, if this is the way Caterpillar Clubhouse conducts business, maybe it was a blessing that our children did not attend this facility. I would recommend supporting other daycares in the Bowie, MD area.

This is an excellent center. It is a very nurturing environment. The teachers are all quite pleasant and seem to be passionate about working with children. My daughter has been attending four months now and has developed tremendously.

I have had nothing but a positive experience with the team at the Caterpillar Clubhouse. They are a loving group of ladies who go above and beyond to take care of my child. Every day at drop off they say a word of prayer over me and my daughter. I can't express how great a center this is.

You will not regret sending your child here.

Very dishonest people. Worst daycare I've ever seen

I am so happy that I found this center. My daughter is happy and well cared for. The Director and staff are absolutely phenomenal! I go to work every day at peace knowing my child is in good hands. So glad we got a spot here!

We love Caterpillar Clubhouse! Our daughter is so well cared for and the curriculum is great. The monthly themes are fun and educational. We appreciate the daily reports, pictures, and videos. The director and staff are easy to talk to about any concerns as well.

Caterpillar Clubhouse was my daughter's first time going to childcare at 3.5 years old. In the time she was there, she developed a passion for independent reading; familiarized herself with several scripture passages and bible stories; and learned sign language. In fact, she was able to express her emotions to my husband and I in sign!! We were beyond impressed! There was always complete transparency about our daughter's performance and progress at Caterpillar Clubhouse. She is now in 1st grade and is the top reader in her class! The owner and I have been good friends for 30 years, so it was a no-brainer to trust her with my child. However, the outcome of leaving my daughter in her care far exceeded our expectations.

Caterpillar Clubhouse was everything we needed. My child attended on a part time basis while I was in school. He received great care and always came home happy. He learned so much. He isn't the type of child that stays with just anyone. The director was warm and loving, creating a pleasant atmosphere that made my son feel comfortable.
