About
Starting in elementary school when I first offered tutoring in math to my classmates, my career has been in education. In 2015, after I graduated from UCLA with a B.S. in Mathematics, I spent a year working as the COO for Thought Lounge, a nonprofiteducational startup. Once my work with Thought Lounge was complete, I found a longer-lasting home at High Tech High where I taught 9th-11th graders mathematics for four years. I love education and working with young people, but I eventually decided to explore other, more technical paths and chose to pursue a career in computer science with a focus on interactive simulation in September 2020. After 11 months of self-study, I began my Master's in Computer Science from DigiPen Institute of Technology in August 2021. Despite focusing on something new for now, I'm still passionate about being an educator in whatever capacity I'm able.
