Duties of Caregiver:
*A Case Manager assist with organizing all aspects of the client's care- doctor's visit, medicines, and organizing and supervising the direct care.
*A private duty nurse fulfills the need indicated by the patient's doctor or family.
*A CNA/ HHA provides the following:
-Bathing: (Bed, bath or shower) Oral Hygiene
-Kitchen: Prepare simple meals for patient. Wash and tidy up after use.
-Dressing: Change patient's bedding (as needed). Wash, fold & put away laundry.-
-Bathroom: Clean and sanitize toilet, tub & basin
-Bedroom: Dust and vacuum once a week
-Assist Patient with Daily Routine:
-Assist patient in walking and physical therapy exercise ordered
by doctor or physical therapist
-Assist patient in toileting (if necessary)
-Run errands (grocery shopping, doctor's appointments, prescriptions, etc.)
