SAH Mother/daughter in home childcare looking for a few more playmates I am just starting out, when I decided to leave my job in Oct. I thought doing care at home would be a great idea, then I thought about doing it with my mom since she has been out of work for a year and has been trying to get ssi (she has childhood diabetes and working in a factory for the last 20 years has been very hard on her) I would still be able to do what I just got my very expensive education in and have someone that loves to be around kids a little added income. I the daughter just left my lead teacher daycare job in October to stay home and supplement my 1st graders education. I'm looking to make some extra money and still help my child, plus prepare my 3 year old for k4. I have a BS in Educational Studies with a minor in Early Childhood from Carroll University and I have CPR training. My mom has had 3 kids, numerous foster kids and has had numerous one to one in home care positions. Not to mention all the different things she has done with her own children like being a girl scout leader my whole time in girl scouts, being active in my PTA and school, and active in all of our extracurricular activities. So here I am now, with my kids and one other family of 2 looking to add a few more playmates and finally be able to include my mom. We have decided that even though this is a joint venture I would be more involved with the older kids and she would be more involved with the babies, but it wouldn t be exclusive. I have not totally set my prices yet, but have discussed with a few people what I am looking at and they say it seems very reasonable. Honestly, I want to make money, but I don't want to make other families go broke. I know how expensive it is for daycare and I don't charge as much as they do. Because of my education and my mother s experience we can provide you and your children quality service along with a save environment. After having kids of my own and being at two different daycares, I feel that there is too much pressure placed on kids to "grow up" so I have a play based atmosphere. Children DO numerous things just by the simple act of playing especially when adults interact with them while playing. There are some traditional things I do like reading books daily, singing song, and a weekly art project. All of which still teach the children things.

It features inviting age-appropriate classrooms, a whimsical Oak Creek-themed play room and a natural outdoor play area where children can burn energy and have fun outside. Our Educational Focus Our early education curriculum focuses on learning through play. Our Educators provide nurturing, safe, and secure environments with well planned activities focusing on cognitive, language, social, emotional, physical, and cultural development of children. We strive to meet the individual needs of each child with a commitment to provide quality educational programming based on each child’s individual skills and abilities. Encouraging Independence We help children learn the self-help skills they need to succeed in life. By helping them to take care of themselves children learn life-sustaining habits. These independent skills begin with putting on socks, using the potty, and finding their own jacket. These early skills lead to independence and confidence. Helping your child master more important tasks such as serving food, dressing, and taking care of their own items. Meals on Us!
