I have worked with children since I could start babysitting at the age of 11. Throughout high school I worked in two different day cares. I was a lead teacher for two years in the two's classroom. I then went on to finish my college degree in Elementary Education. I have since worked with every age of elementary school children. I am a licensed teacher who decided to open my own daycare after having my own child. She is now 1 year old! I am able to still use my teaching degree by having circle time learning letters, numbers, shapes, colors, animals, and more. And also implementing lesson plans and activities to help children learn and have fun! We have a structured day filled with play time (both inside and outside), circle time, activities and crafts, nap time, and more! Tuition also includes breakfast, lunch, and a snack. I only have a few openings available, full-time and part-time, so please contact me soon!!

Hoosier Daycare?

684 Mountain Pine Dr. Greenwood, IN

7 mi

At Hoosier Daycare? my main goals are to educate and have a lot of fun. And usually both will happen at the same time! I have a detailed daily program set up. Starting with breakfast, free play, snack, reading, naptime for younger ones, lunch, learning time with the young ones, play outside (if parents and weather permit), and a 2nd snack. If school age children are in school then I will go by the parents wishes as to whether they complete their homework with me or wait until the parents pick them up, but I am happy to help them with it if they do it with me. If school is out of session then learning time will be in place the same time of day it is with the younger tots. About my family, Curt and I have two wonderful boys, Kayden who is 9, and Cameron who is 20 months. Kayden is our sports nut, he is currently in baseball but also plays basketball and football. Cameron is our vivacious little fireball. He is a little comedian, always making people laugh and he loves to play with other kids. Our family also consists of 4 dogs and 1 cat, so children with allergies wouldn't be a good fit here. However, dogs are kept kenneled during the day and the cat is in our bedroom upstairs, so animals will not be around the kids. We have a privacy fenced in backyard with a small indoor/outdoor play climber for the tots and room for the bigger kids to play. Our home is fully equipped for even the littlest ones. We have a crib, a bassinet, a pack n' play, 2 baby swings, high chair and booster seat, and baby gates for the kitchen and both ends of the stairs. Breakfast, lunch, and 2 snacks will be provided. Daycare hours are 6am-6pm and payment will be required each Friday. Cost of care for children not of school age is $125/week, except infants who are $140. Before and after school children are $50/week during the school year and $125/week during the summer. If transportation to/from school is needed it will be extra. Vacations and holidays can be discussed in detail in person. My love for children and my childrens love of friends makes our daycare and warm, fun, and exciting place to learn and grow and make friends. The children I watch are a family to me and we enjoy having close relationships with their parents. We want you to feel safe and comfortable knowing your child is being treated with love and care and receiving your standard of education. If Hoosier Daycare? sounds like a good fit for your family email me at hoosierkidsdaycare@yahoo.com or call 317-626-0787.
