I come from a large family so becoming a teacher came natural to me. I am a life long learner and caring for and teaching children is my passion. While attending college, I worked at an amazing preschool and that was when I realized that I wanted to own my own preschool someday. I graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2008 but immediately returned to school and completed my M.ED (Masters of Education) in 2011. While attending graduate school I worked in Apopka, Florida as a Kindergarten teacher and at a preschool during summer breaks as a VPK teacher. Over the past five years, I have been a classroom teacher for grades Pre-K, K, 1, and 3. This past school year, I was given the opportunity to teach all grade levels (K-12) as an ELL (English Language Learner) teacher. I am a certified teacher in Florida, Missouri, and my Georgia certification is in progress. I have been blessed with some amazing experiences and I can 't wait to see what the future holds. My Promise: As your child 's teacher and caregiver, I promise to be so much more than JUST a childcare provider but to consistently go above and beyond to provide new, fun, and, exciting ways for your child to learn. My goal is to lay the foundation for a life long love of learning. Curriculum: In today 's world there seems to be ALL play or NO play at all. I believe in a curriculum that allows children to learn through play and to development their creativity and self-expression through structured and free play opportunities. This unique approach allows children to develop a natural curiosity about the world. My specially designed curriculum uses a mixture of philosophies from, Beyond Centers and Circle Time and the Montessori approach. I believe by mixing these two philosophies I am teaching the whole child and I am teaching children how to grow into successful citizens. What to Expect: *A weekly themed lesson plan differentiated to your child that includes the following skills: social development, gross motor, reading readiness, music/movement, math, and art/writing *A monthly newsletter highlighting special activities, what 's to come, and useful ideas/tips for academically preparing your child *Daily progress note *Breakfast, Lunch, and two snacks will be provided for full time programs. If your child requires special foods please bring them. *A teacher who will put her all into everything she does to enjoy her day, so that your child will too. *A professional childcare provider that you can trust and depend on to create a safe, loving, nurturing, healthy, and caring learning environment. Why choose a home preschool? Preschool prices are sometimes outrageous but in today 's world PRESCHOOL IS REQUIRED for your child to be successful in Kindergarten. The goal of my preschool is to give your child all of the necessary tools to be successful in Kindergarten without breaking the bank. In my preschool you will notice that my activities are differentiated to fit the needs of each and every child to ensure that every child is growing and moving forward in ALL areas of development. Preschool Program Rates: Hours of Operation: 5:00 AM- 6:00 PM One Child $80 week (full time) $20 daily part-time $5 per hour Two Children $150 (full-time) $30 daily (part time) $8 per hourly Kids Nite Out: An after hours special adventure for kids only from 6-9 p.m. once a month; Kids Nite Out includes a special theme with arts/crafts, games, and a special dinner. Kids Nite Out is a perfect opportunity for those date nights! Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math are our main focus. We implement these subjects through Hands-on-Learning. We are not a traditional child care facility.Our center is set up to give children and teens room to work in small groups with their peers, were they are allowed to be innovative preparing them for the 21 century career fields. We introduce these subjects in our preschool program starting at 2 yrs and carry it through to our 14 year olds. We believe children can have a love of learning when they are exposed to these subjects in a fun and exciting way. At The Learning Villa we will create an environment that will have children excited about the world around them. Our rooms are Learning Labs where the children will be working with their peers, allowing team work, problem solving and decision making. Here at The Learning Villa the Learning Labs allows all the children to participate at different times and days. These Learning Labs are full of materials that will give children an unlimited amount of imagination and a huge amount of innovations. Children can create a masterpiece in our Art Studio. Children can combine ingredient to create a delicious snack in our Creative Cafe. Children can use safety equipment to build in our Engineering and Math Lab. We have a Mystical Garden to experience how our food grows. Kids will explode and dissect things in our Science Lab. In our Computer Lab will we introduce creating app, software using coding concepts. Our hours are from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. We have drop in rates, part-time, hourly, full-time, summer, school closing, after-school. and preschool. Field Trips are also part of our curriculum, we want our children to be exposed to what is offered in the fields of S.T.E.A.M in our community.The ages we serve are 4 yrs- 16 yrs. Our rates are competitive and we offer discounts for siblings and referrals. We run Specials throughout the year. Come by and take a tour of our facility and register NOW. The special for the month of June is $70 a week. Transportation is provided from many schools in the area. Also as an enrolled summer adventure camper we will transport children from other camps that have part-time hours and days. Example Activ8 camp hours 9:30 to 12:30 Mon- Thurs. The Learning Villa is the One to allow your children some S.T.E.A.M Fun.
