I am offering a state licensed home 2 in-home daycare. It is called almost home as I want your child to feel at home and comfortable here. It is a friendly, loving, social daycare. I focus on giving kids the skills and lessons needed before preschool or kindergarten. ABC's, 123's, colors, shapes, numbers, and letters recognition, being able to tie shoes, sharing, and manners. I have my CPR & First aide certification, and have been involved with childcare since birth (my mom had an inhome daycare till I was 16). I offer great meal plans with meats, grains, fruits and veggies, milk or juice. As I am part of the food program. I am open 7am to 5:15pm right now, but can be flexible. I will also offer before and after school care provided they have transportation close to my house. I do drop offs and pick ups at the preschool that is St Michaels Lutheran Church, and lifegate church. I am teacher friendly as well, offering a summer schedule. I do have a contract to cover state rules, regulations, some basic rules, and principals. I have two great kids that are in school full time. I have a zoo pass to take the kids to for our learning outtings. I also like to take the kids to the childrens museum, and lots of parks. Including one less than a block from my house. The 700+sqft basement has been transformed to a kid play area full of toys for all ages and stages of learning, arts and crafts area. I also have a large fenced in back yard with plenty of toys and room to discover new things. We do have pets, however only a hampster, a fish tank, and a Pacman frog are in the daycare area. My husband is retired military so military family's are more than welcome! He is also my assistant. I will also watch kids on drill weekends with prior notice.
