About Zulmarie

Hello! I am fluent in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding Spanish. I grew up speaking Spanish at home and attended a dual language magnet elementary and middle school, which gave me a strong foundation. I am currently a student at Dominican University, double majoring in Education and Spanish Transcultural Studies. My studies have deepened my knowledge of the Spanish language and culture and have helped me develop effective strategies for teaching Spanish to others. Additionally, I am currently in the education field as a Special Education Classroom Assistant with CPS which has equipped me with the experience of working with children of all ages! I'm passionate about helping students gain confidence in Spanish and making language learning fun, relatable, and rewarding!
