About Zulma

I am beyond grateful that Zulma has become such a huge part of our lives. When I first began my search for a nanny for our 6 month old, I was pretty paralyzed. I had had poor experiences with nannies as a child, and was really worried about the process. I knew from our first hours with Zulma that she was a perfect fit for my daughter and our family. She quickly made a point to understand our values, needs, and wants for our daughter. She also got to know Ruby quickly, and Ruby warmed to her faster than she has with anyone else. Zulma's communication style is open and caring, and she is incredibly patient and observant. She has such a deep well of knowledge to pull from, and not only supports our daughter's health, happiness, and growth, but was also able to coach me through some really tough moments as a first time mom. It is clear that this is a passion of hers - she has studied child psychology and we chat on it a ton! My daughter is sensitive, and has been since she was born. Zulma has lent us books on the subject, and brings this knowledge to her to day to day work with Ruby. Zulma is also incredibly flexible, and has helped us out in a pinch many many times. I don't know how we got so lucky - I don't know what we'd do without her.
