About Zulma

There aren’t enough words to capture our love and admiration for Zulma. From the moment we met, we knew she was the one we wanted to care after our daughter and we remain forever grateful that she chose to be a part of our family too. Zulma is very warm, honest, communicative, kind, engaging, and passionate about kids. It is so evident from her every interaction with our little one that her heart is in the right place - nurturing the hearts and minds of the children of our tomorrow. She began caring for our daughter when she was 7 months old until she was 12 months old. During their time together, she taught our daughter Spanish (to include singing with her), spent time outdoors daily, exposed her to various foods as she began solids, encouraged physical developments, and guided her to understand basic concepts as our baby explored the world around her. Zulma respected and abided by the schedules and guidelines we shared with her and made recommendations throughout her observations and interactions with our daughter. She showed up on our worst days and helped our family when we needed the help the most. I always looked forward to her written summaries and recap at the end of the week. Our time with her concluded as our daughter joined her sister at daycare. It was a very difficult and emotional transition because we not only landed an amazing nanny in Zulma but gained a friend along the way. She truly pours herself into everything and all that’ she does. Any family would be incredibly lucky to experience her love, care, and friendship.
