I am a certified teacher in Exceptional Student Education. My Masters degree has provided me with a strong foundation for understanding human development. Creating a nurturing and engaging environment where people thrive is my passion. This past year, I taught a classroom designed for autistic students who mainly communicated without speaking. My areas of interest focus mainly on communication in all forms, self-advocacy, sensory regulation, and reading instruction. I have specialized certifications in Reading and teaching English as a second language. I'm very comfortable and knowledgeable on working with those who are acquiring language. I am patient, creative, and love connecting with others. I always follow parents' preferred communication methods to keep you informed about your child's day. I'm comfortable caring for up to three children. I have a car and am comfortable with pets. I'm eager to bring my experience and enthusiasm to your family and help your children learn and grow!
