About Zora

Hi, I'm Zora! I've been babysitting for families in my neighborhood since middle school and started nannying in high school. Working with children has stayed a constant in my life because I truly enjoy it! Kids tend to gravitate toward me, and the compliment I get most often is that I'll be a great mom someday, which means a lot to me. I'm a PhD student at UC Irvine and plan to become a professor because I love teaching and helping students grow. I'm patient, calm, responsible, and happy to help with homework and reading. I was a three-sport varsity athlete, grew up with arts, and played serveral instruments, and I bring that creativity and energy into childcare. I value active, interactive care with outdoor play and activities. I strongly believe paid caretakers should not let kids be on screens all day. I love coming up with crafts and games that keep kids engaged and confident. I have lifeguard experience, great for pool or beach days. I also have my own car and love cooking :)
