About Zorah

Hi, my name is Zorah! I am a certified mathematics teacher with 7 years of tutoring experience, working with students from 5th grade through college-level Calculus. I hold my NYS Teaching Certification in Mathematics Grades 7-12 and CRLA International Level 2 Tutor Training. I earned my bachelor's degree in Mathematics and my master's degree in Mathematics Education from Stony Brook University. My tutoring approach focuses on building confidence, understanding, and independence. I break down difficult topics into clear, manageable steps and adapt my teaching style to each student's needs. I believe math should be more than memorization, so I help students understand the "why" behind each concept. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing as learners.
