Hello, My name is Zoey, and while I didn't have extensive experience in elderly care, I provided dedicated support to my grandmother, who has paranoid schizophrenia. I used emotional regulation techniques and enjoyed singing to lift her spirits. During meals, she refused to eat, so I created a pleasant atmosphere by sitting and eating with her making her feel less pressure, practicing patience as she expressed frustration. I assisted her with bathing, dressing, medication, and mobility, and I helped with restroom needs, ensuring she felt comfortable. I genuinely enjoy working with seniors, as it brings me happiness to listen to their stories and provide support. I drive a comfortable 2014 Cadillac XTS with a large amount of trunk space, which allows me to assist with errands and accompany seniors to appointments.
