I am calm, patient, organized, and a great communicator. I am also quite goofy and fun-loving. I am transitioning careers. I have spent the past 6 years working as an engineer. I am now planning to begin teaching in the fall. I started working with kids when I was 14 years old when I would babysit for my neighbors. I babysat for family friends until graduating college. In my spare time, I love to play sports, play guitar, paint (water colors and acrylic), draw, and craft. I love to ride my bike, play rugby, and pickleball. My 3-year-old was instantly put at ease by Zoe's positive energy and began showing off all his toys to enthusiastic responses. She later gamely played along with his pillow-fort-building and Lego-related antics. He told us that she helped come up with English names for the characters in his Chinese-language books. Altogether, she kept him engaged and entertained for 5 straight hours -- he had a great time. We returned home to a happy child and the pillows and blankets and toys folded up and put away -- which usually results in tears. I will absolutely hire her again when next we need a sitter.
