About Zoe Rae

Hi, I'm Zoe, and I spent three years as a dietary aide at Messiah Lifeways. Although I'm not CNA or RN certified, I have extensive hands-on experience in the field. My role extended beyond the kitchen; I was deeply involved with residents, often spending late nights talking with them and visiting on my days off. I would assist residents personally when nurses were unavailable, ensuring they felt heard and valued. My primary care was being a companion, especially in the dementia unit, where I encountered various challenges like aggression and mood swings. I've learned to handle these situations without taking them personally. I'm also comfortable with Parkinson's disease and have experience with assisted feeding. I can run errands or transport people though my small car may not accommodate large non-collapsible items like motorized mobility equipment.
