About Zoe

Hi! I'm Zoë, a recent UMass Amherst CS grad (3. 75 GPA, honors all four years) starting at Capital One in August, but tutoring all summer before I move to Chicago! In high school, I tutored African refugee children, kids in underserved communities, and unhoused youth. Every student made the honor roll, and I received an award for my work with the refugee program. In college, I expanded to tutoring adults through Job Corps. No question is a bad question! I create a warm, open environment where students feel confident, and I check in regularly with parents to keep everyone on the same page. I cover math through calculus, linear algebra, and discrete math, plus English and coding. I'm a Scholastic Award-winning writer with published pieces. I also have 3 F500 internships, led undergraduate ML research, and served as President of ColorStack, a club empowering Black and Hispanic students in CS. Happy to share my LinkedIn and résumé!
