About Zhara

I am an experienced educator with a Master's degree in TESOL and teaching licenses in Tennessee and New York. I am bilingual in English and Spanish and specialize in elementary education, multilingual learners, literacy, reading, and writing. I began tutoring after completing my undergraduate degree, while working in my university's English department before accepting a teaching position overseas. Since then, I have developed a teaching style that is patient, resourceful, and engaging. I believe every child learns differently, so I adapt instruction to their individual strengths and needs. Beyond education, I am an entrepreneur and published author, which allows me to bring creativity and real-world experiences into learning. I enjoy helping students build confidence, independence, and a genuine interest in learning. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, writing, traveling, and spending time with friends.
