About Zen

I'd describe my personality as patient, engaged, and responsible I like working with kids because I enjoy work where I can see the positive impact that I'm making. Children are highly intuitive, resourceful and easily-influenced. I take pride in being a positive role-model in their lives. I started working with kids when I was a teenager. I have many years of babysitting experience, along with 5+ years of professional nanny experience. One thing you should know about me is that I prioritize safety, mental health and openness. I strive to provide a safe environment for children where they feel willing and able to talk to a trusted adult if they need help. Teaching children to express their emotions (in a healthy way) is big for me!
