Jill's Buddy Camp, a summer camp for preschool kids with special needs, was my first instance of working with special needs kids and fostered the development of my love for special needs kids. My love continued to grow when I started job shadowing at a music therapy group and got to volunteer at BRAAC which specialized in creating a space for kids with special needs. I have learned so much while shadowing that I think could be a benefit of my application. I believe in individual education in that every kid is different and needs a different sort of attention and I am willing to learn the ways of your child and provide for them in all the ways I can.
