I am a yoga teacher with a background in social work. I have a vast experience working children, from special needs, neurologically different, at-risk, neglected, and neurotypical. I can keep up with active teenagers or still quietly and read to a toddler. I have a warm inviting energy that most people find comforting. I am consistent and firm when working with children. I have training in collaborative problem solving which is trauma informed. I am good at resolving conflicts while validating the children s needs or concerns. Most of my experience is with 10-year-olds and up but I do enjoy toddlers :) In my free time I enjoy painting, drawing, being creative, running, yoga, meditation, reading, cooking, learning about nutrition, learning about the brain, gardening, traveling, learning about other cultures and customs, and laughing! I hope to become apart of the family and bring joy and inspiration to your children.
