About Zehra

Zehra has been our full-time nanny since my son was 9 months old. He is now starting preschool, and she is truly one of the best things that has happened to us since moving to SF. She has the most amazing heart, and her endless love and patience not only toward my son but toward our whole family have been priceless. Zehra has more than a decade of experience in child care, her formal education was also in early child care. She took such great care of our son. She was extremely reliable and always early. She was amazing at establishing and keeping routines for my son. She was also incredibly thoughtful. She would cook extra on Fridays so we had food for the weekend, make me breakfast and lunch when I was working from home, and make sure we always had homemade snacks. Multiple neighbors have also told me how wonderful she was with my son after seeing them together. She also took care of our home like it was her own. She kept everything clean and tidy, did everyone’s laundry, handled our grocery runs, and cooked the most amazing meals for all of us. She would always go out of her way to help extra when we traveled, when my parents were visiting, or when we had friends over. She also has such a friendly and warm nature. After meeting our parents, she would call them herself and let them talk to my son when we were too busy. My mom was actually surprised to learn that Zehra wasn’t a mom herself because she has such a naturally motherly way about her. I personally learned a great deal from her. When I spoke with one of Zehra’s references a year and a half ago, she told me how lucky we were to have Zehra. That comment has come back to my mind many times since. It is not easy to hand over the care of your baby to someone else, and we really were incredibly lucky to have her. She became a very special part of our family, and we will miss her so much.
