I initially had high hopes for this caregiver. She started out exceptionally strong — going above and beyond during the first two days. Based on that, I made the decision to hire her permanently and released my previous caregiver per her request for more hours. Unfortunately, after only two days, she completely stopped showing up — no call, no text, and no explanation — leaving her work half done and an autistic, disabled client suddenly without support. What makes it worse is that she had expressed how excited she was to come back the very next day, making the sudden disappearance even more confusing and irresponsible. This kind of behavior is not only unprofessional but deeply harmful when working with someone who depends on consistent care and reliability. I would strongly advise others to think twice before trusting her with vulnerable clients. Her unreliability caused far more chaos and stress than any help she initially provided.
