I currently live in Hartsdale and I did live in Yonkers close to Lockwood Avenue and have worked in the Homefield area, I took care of 2 dementia patients for 4 years in their home, then another 2 in the same neighborhood and at last 2 more (one an adult with down syndrome). 

I also worked in the City . The fact that I have a following in a neighborhood speaks volumes about my years of experience. I am a very solid, caring, attentive, aide that does not take this position lightly. I will take care of your loved one without you having to worry.

Zee is one of the most kind, gentle, compassionate caregivers that we ever had. She was hired to take care of a woman with late stage Alzheimer's and Zee was by her side through it with the family - through the whole process with a welcoming smile and always knew how to keep quiet when the time was to be quiet and yet she joined in conversation with the team with a sweet personality and became part of the family as well. Zee is a true gem and we couldn't have been more blessed than we were with the genuine love and support she gave. Anyone would be so lucky to have her. She will be there for you and your loved one and keep them safe.

I cannot say enough good things about Zee. She was like a member of my family. She took care of my dad who had dementia for many years and was the most kind and loving caregiver. She made it possible for my mom to leave my father and see her friends and socialize, something that was really hard for my mom to do. She cared for him lovingly, was kind to all of us and did all kinds of work around the house including new prep and laundry to help my mom. My dads last few years were so comfortable because of Zee. We trusted her completely, she knew what she was doing and she was incredibly competent. We had many home health care aids before her and honestly none was as wonderful as Zee. We are so thankful to her for all she did for my family and my dad.

This little lady really packs a punch..was hesitant because of all the lifting that is required to care for my mother. Z  can do it all. She transmits nothing but a peaceful vibe even in a chaotic environment . She is professional and very skilled and compassionate.  She understands the needs of her patients and in no way has not delivered. I have spoken to many of applications, and I have peace within myself when I rest at night knowing that I have made the right choice. ..this is my review and I'm keeping her here with me and my parents as long as I can.  Worth every dime. Worth every dime!!

Zasembo was an answer to my family's prayers...we needed someone to look after my dad and my special needs sister after my mom passed away. It was a difficult time...Zasembo was wonderful--she took care of the everyday duties of the household and made sure that medications were given as per the schedule. Then when my sister moved into a group home setting, Zasembo continued caring for my dad until his condition warranted a skilled nursing home setting. Zasembo was a kind and caring provider and my entire family would heartily recommend her.

Zasembo was the top candidate out of the 32 that applied for the position I was listing. Her resume was complete, her background check was clear and her reference was excellent. More importantly to me, she was the only candidate who answered the questions I asked in the job description, showing that she read the entire posting. Her thorough and sensitive answers put her right at the top of my list. Unfortunately, we ended up hiring a family friend for the job, but as I told Zasembo, we are keeping her number on speed-dial, just in case things change.

Zasembo worked for me for 4 years.  She is simply exceptional compared to the normal home health aide that this marketplace offers.  She has a quiet demeanor, yet can handle difficult situations.  She is very quiet, can cook like a pro, keeps a clean and tidy work place, is very easy going, gets along with others, and is polite.

Holiday's, overnights, sleeping arrangements are never an issue.  My Mom & Dad each had severe dementia and they both had very different varieties.  My Mom was very active and would take off at a moments notice, my Dad could be very combative and nasty.  If I ever had to fill in with a different aide for the short times she took off it was like comparing midnight in the arctic circle to high noon in the dessert, she was that good! Dealing with health aides is sometimes very difficult and mostly impossible given the low level of attention they provide our loved ones.  If you choose this woman I guarantee your life will become easier.  

The only drawback is that she does not drive, with that being said, if it takes a little extra effort to find a ride or get a bus or taxi, it is well worth the aggravation that you would experience with someone else.  All of her positive qualities outweigh this one small drawback.  She does live near public transport, getting to you is not an issue.
