Hello! My name is Zakiya, and I am 28 years old currently attending graduate school, where I am pursuing my Master's degree in Exceptional Education. I have over 12 years of experience caring for and educating children of all ages and abilities. I previously worked at Buffalo State Child Care, where I cared for children ranging from 6 weeks to 4 years old, and I also served as a daycare director. In addition, I have extensive experience working with children with special needs, whom I absolutely adore working with. I also previously worked as a Behavioral Therapist, providing support to children with autism and developmental disabilities. I have been working with children with disabilities for about 10 years and am currently working as a K-2 Special Education teacher. Along with my professional experience, I am CPR and First Aid certified, have reliable transportation, and am dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for every child I work with.
