About Zaira

We do not have the words to express how highly we recommend Zaira for any childcare position. Zaira worked as a nanny for our family from 2/2023 through 7/2023. During this time she cared for our son from the age 4 months to 10 months. The duration of her employment was short because we were only in Chicago for this amount of time and were long scheduled to move back to the Southeast for our jobs. We were so happy with Zaira that we asked if she could move with us as we would have loved to employ her for as long as possible. Unfortunately for us, this was not possible. Zaira is a natural caretaker. She was so loving with our son. She talked to him all the time and never had trouble keeping him entertained. She thought of fun activities for them to do together and gave us ideas for things to do with him. In addition to being wonderful with our son, she also was a proactive team player and would go above and beyond to do extra tasks to keep the day running smoothly. For example, she noticed when our dog needed something and would attend to him and would do extra tasks around the house without hesitation if I asked her to do something outside the usual. She fit into our family seamlessly and was a joy to have around. She is incredibly patient and has a very calming demeanor. Zaira always listened to exactly what we wanted and asked for clarification if something was unclear. I trusted her completely with our baby and never had any doubts or concerns. Zaira was communicative and timely and always kept us informed of her whereabouts. Although it did not come up for us given the age of our son and the fact that I worked from home, I would definitely have trusted her to transport him if needed. I really appreciated that Zaira was not on her phone when she was working and was fully engaged but she was also always reachable. Zaira was also able to babysit for us several times on off hours if we gave her enough notice.
