About Zainora

Every child can learn, and it starts with believing they can. I'm a patient, encouraging tutor for elementary students in math, reading, writing, and science, and my first goal is helping your child build confidence and the right mindset. As the oldest of seven children, I've spent my life helping kids learn, and I've seen that struggles often come from discouragement, not ability. My lessons are fun, calm, and story-based. I celebrate small wins, build good habits, and turn math problems into stories until kids are ready to take the lead. I've also worked with a child with autism, which taught me to slow down and adapt. I hold a bachelor's degree from the University of Virginia (with honors) and am completing my MBA at GWU in summer 2027. I began college pre-med, which sparked my love of math and science. I've tutored math, taught English and Farsi, and mentored students. I'll send parents updates after every lesson. I tutor evenings and weekends because I truly enjoy it.
