About Zahraa

Hi there! I'm a 19-year-old with a big heart and an even bigger passion for caring for others. In 2021, I faced a major health journey after being diagnosed with chronic pancreatitis. After lots of hospital stays and a major surgery this year where five organs (including my pancreas) were removed, I became a Type 1 diabetic. It was tough, but it also lit a fire in me to pursue pediatric nursing, inspired by the amazing care I received and the deep love I already had for kids as well as caring for others! I graduated high school with my CNA, BLS, and CPR certifications and have been gaining real-world experience as a CNA. I started at Utah Tech University last fall and am thrilled to be heading back this year to continue working toward my BSN. Now that I've been cleared for regular activities, I couldn't be more excited to jump back into doing what I love most .
