I'm currently a medical student at SUNY Downstate. I always enjoy helping other people learn new skills and overcome challenges in lifestyle, sports, and academia. In my experience, I had amazing tutors and mentors in school, internships, and jobs. I appreciate how much their guidance and support help my growth. They helped challenge me to learn, and explained topics through creative approaches that allowed me to understand. When I teach and tutor, I do my best to employ these qualities. My favorite subjects to tutor are STEM subjects; however, I still enjoy tutoring in a variety of other subjects.

Zafar was an excellent tutor for my kids. He kept them engaged and made learning fun, which is not always easy to do. He is kind, patient, and handles rambunctious kids with ease. He genuinely cared not only about improving my children’s grades, but also about making a positive impact on their lives overall. Over time, Zafar became like family to us, and anyone would be lucky to have him as a tutor or caretaker for their loved ones.
