About Zack

Howdy! My name is Zack and I'm a passionate, creative, and empathetic care giver who has a large variety of working with all sorts of kids and teens. I've worked in year round camp and nature schools, boarding schools, foster homes, therapeutic residential treatment, and private families. I believe that effective care giving for youth is rooted in safety, consistency, attunement, creativity, and the ability to get curious about reasons behind behaviors. My bachelors is in outdoor recreation and tourism management and I am currently getting my masters in childhood and adolescent mental health counseling in hopes to become a recreational/experiential therapist. I love the outdoors, games, crafts, and believe that they can be a great only for education and healing.
