About Yvette

Yvette was one of the first caregivers we got for my 90 year old father in January 2021. Dad was not the easiest to care for due to his worsening dementia, failing body, and Parkinson's. Dad was pretty much wheelchair bound the last year and needed total ADL care. But she persevered through it all. She was patient, compassionate, respectful, and medically savvy. My dad loved her smile and nicknamed her, "Smily". Yvette always had my dad's best interest at heart. Yvette played an integral role in assisting keeping our dad in his own home and not a facility. She made him feel comfortable and safe. She would play hours of checkers with him because she knew he loved it. She watched football games and movies with him and kept him interactive. She is a team player who had daily shifts with other permanent caregivers to provide him 24 hour care. Yvette stepped up on days I needed a shift covered and provided the same quality of care. Sadly, dad passed away February 2024. Yvette stood with us until the night before his passing to support dad and my family. We will forever treasure her and her excellent care of our dad. She's a gem!
