I have fostered litters of kittens for a non-profit organization since 2019. Most kittens required flea baths upon arrival. Many kittens were sick and needed to be administered medicated eye drops twice a day for 1 full week. (Sometimes oral meds as well) I carefully monitored their condition daily and made sure to provide frequent meals. The kittens were isolated from all other pets in a safe space. Caring for them was usually a few weeks or 1-2 months long. Once kittens reached 2 pounds, they were taken to the clinic and given their vaccinations. I then brought the kittens back to the nursery where they would be included in upcoming adoption events.
