I sincerely tried to hire Yulman. I should have appreciated a reference that flagged her unreliability. Yulman cancelled or rescheduled numerous times before ever formally starting work, including once after I left work early specifically to meet her and confirmed twice in the hours before. Each time there was a reason, but the pattern made it impossible to move forward. I cannot speak to her housekeeping skills, but reliability was a significant issue from the start.
