About Yuliana

I'd describe my personality as kind, compassionate, and openminded. I like working with kids because it's rewarding, fulfilling, and allows me to be creative, compassionate, and nurturing. I'm looking for a job with good communication, trust, and that brings me joy. I started working with kids when I was 16, babysitting for friends and family. I also volunteered at my local library reading to children and creating engaging activities. In college, I babysat for a professor and was a kids day camp counselor every summer. I also mentored high school students and first gen college students like myself. In my spare time, I like to be with family and friends, read a good book, and be active. One thing you should know about me is I'm fully bilingual and am happy to talking Spanish to the kids! As an English lit and sociology grad, I love the power of language bringing us together! My skills include being patient, paying attention to detail, and demonstrating empathy in everything I do.
