About Yuberkys

Hello, my name is Yuberkys S. I always have been passionate about working with children. I have been a nanny/babysitter and tutor for a couple of years now and I love it. I am very creative and adventurous. I enjoy doing arts and crafts with the children. People consider me as someone who is gentle, fun, compassionate, extremely patient, hard working and very understanding. I Tutor children between the ages of 4-8 years old. They were able to achieve fluency in Spanish and English by designing individual lesson plans and conducting diagnostic reading and writing assessments weekly. Collaborated with parents and Speech-Language Pathologist who had children with a learning disability. Teach general test-taking strategies and specific concepts in algebra, reading and writing. Monitor student's progress throughout the academic year. Assist with homework and other class assignments that resulted in improvements in grades.
