About Yolonda

I worked In home care, with a 35-year-old woman with autism for 3 years. I taught basic living skills, I cooked, cleaned, bathed, and took her out in the community. We established trust, stability, and friendship to the capacity that she could handle. I enjoyed it very much. For the last 3 years I have been my mother's caregiver. I do light house work, transfer her to the toilet with a sit and stand. Set up her appointments, learned how to take care of diabetic wounds. Bathed her and do laundry. I've learned patience and compassion at a deeper level through my caregiving experiences. It has been a job that makes my heart full. I have moved to a new town and am looking for caregiving positions. I hope I can be of help!
