I'm also the oldest of three siblings, including a younger brother with Down syndrome who has inspired my journey into pediatric nursing. Yoldany has been our full-time nanny (M-F)to our toddler for over a year and she is INCREDIBLE- 10/10! She has been with us since our daughter was 11 months old and now she’s 2! Yoldany has help our daughter learn to stand, walk, talk (in both English and Spanish), learn her colors, numbers, and countless other milestones. She has her medical assistant degree and is CPR certified (which she keeps up to date) and makes a huge effort to support our daughter’s development in every way. She takes her to countless events and activities all over the Bay Area during the week, but is also attuned to our daughter’s needs and will have a chill day at home if needed. She’s a sleep whisperer and gets our daughter to nap 2+ a day, does the cutest hairstyles, and picks the cutest outfits. Yoldany preaches kindness, acceptance of others, and has a loving, warm presences while holding healthy boundaries with our daughter. She’s responsive, thoughtful, great at adjusting to any environment, and working around us when we work from home. I could go on forever, but Yoldany has become part of our family. She is one of a kind and any family would be lucky to have her join them! My husband and I are both lawyers and had very, very high expectations for our daughter’s nanny and Yoldany has exceeded all of them— she goes above and beyond. Our daughter is starting pre-school in August and thanks to Yoldany, she’s more than prepared. Yoldany is also beginning nursing school so she is looking for a part-time position to start once our daughter starts pre-school— I’m happy to share more if anyone wants more info!
