About Yokasta

As a graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Justice Studies with a concentration in Crime and Criminology and a minor in Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University. As a Service Leader and Student success coach Ive have spent the last two years working with students from diverse backgrounds and fostering their social-emotional and academic development. I successfully facilitated small group and one-on-one interventions, which have led to improved performance in all disciplines. I also provide support and mentorship to new AmeriCorps members in their efforts for personal growth and their work with students. This experience cultivated my leadership skills and deepened my commitment to equity in education, values I know your organization holds dearly. My mandated reporting and CPR/AED certifications further demonstrate my commitment to safety and service to others.
