I hired Yojani in August 2024 as a companion caregiver for my husband who has LewyBody dementia. Ken and Yojani quickly became good friends. They would take short walks together, sit on the deck and talk about anything , watch the birds, deer, and insects in our yard and the neighbors’ yards, do puzzles, play games, listen to 50s music, watch Star Wars movies and old Carol Burnett shows, and laugh all the time. She often made him breakfast and lunch. I could go to a short meeting or ran an errand and know that Ken was in good hands. I also enjoyed being around Yojani. She always was positive, enthusiastic and had a great sense of humor. As Ken’s dementia limited him more physically and mentally, Yojani always could make him laugh and smile. In June Ken went to a facility for dementia and I still would have continued to hire Yojani as a companion for him except the facility is too far away for Yojani. Everyone of my friends and family who met Yojani were impressed with her caregiving skills.
