About Yocelyn

Hi there! I started working with kids professionally when I was 16. I started with tutoring, which then lead to babysitting. Soon after I worked in after-school programs and by the time I started college, I was working as a TA. My skills include Health and Safety management, collaboration/adaptivity, and creativity. One thing you should know about me is that I thrive with open communication and reciprocity. My relationship with parents is just as important to me as my relationship with the child(ren). I'd describe my personality as easy-going and gentle. I like working with kids because as much as we teach them, they teach us. Kids often remind me of how beautiful life truly is and that there is still hope, love, and goodness out in the world.
